As Legal Counsel for Division 1 at the SCC, I administer cases under the SCC Rules and other frameworks including the UNCITRAL Rules, exercising day-to-day decisions throughout the arbitral process. My core responsibilities encompass both autonomous decision-making and institutional oversight, including determining advance payments, preparing cases for Board decisions on appointments, jurisdiction, conflicts, and consolidation, while independently handling procedural matters and party communications. Beyond casework, I engage with the international arbitration community, delivering lectures, participating in conferences, and building relationships with arbitrators, counsel, and institutions worldwide, as well as contributing to internal SCC projects and recruiting interns.
