𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁. At the SCC event “Mastering Contract Negotiations and Dispute Differences”, arbitration experts gathered to examine how legal cultures and procedural approaches influence dispute resolution across jurisdictions. Mathias Steinø, Partner at Hafnia Law and member of the SCC Arbitrators’ Council, reflects on the contrasting developments in Swedish and Danish arbitration. He notes that Sweden swiftly emerged as an international arbitration hub alongside centres such as London, Paris, Singapore and Hong Kong, whereas Denmark has maintained a strong domestic tradition.
