𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘾𝘾'𝙨 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣, Emanuele Tartaglini 🌅 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘾𝘾 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚? As an SCC intern, I’m the “Swiss Army knife” of the Institute: I go from helping plan lectures delivered by legal counsel to writing articles on topics that range from ISDS cases to pathological arbitration clauses across jurisdictions. My main functions involve case management support, checking filings for completeness and routing them to the right case managers while preparing memos on jurisdictional objections and other procedural documents. It’s a blend of research, writing, logistics, and a ton of behind the scenes learning about how the SCC makes international dispute resolution run seamlessly. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘾𝘾? What surprised me most was how everyone truly enjoys fika.
