🔹 SCC at London International Disputes Week 2025 🔹 During London International Disputes Week, SCC board member Knud Jacob Knudsen had the privilege of joining a thought-provoking panel discussion: "Using AI for Clients' and Counsel’s Benefit in International Disputes: Insights from Counsel, AI Developers, and the SCC Arbitration Institute." The panel explored the transformative potential of AI in arbitration, highlighting both its benefits and risks, and featured practical demonstrations of AI tools in action. A key element of the discussion was the SCC’s Guide to the Use of AI, which was nominated for a GAR Award earlier this year. One of the central topics was whether arbitral tribunals should disclose the use of AI. The SCC guide encourages transparency when AI is used in legal analysis or fact-finding, supporting due process and ensuring tribunals act within their mandate.
