Full house at our SCC roundtable discussion on valuation experts! A diverse group of M&A and dispute resolution lawyers and experienced valuation experts gathered on Friday, 21 February 2025 at the SCC's premises. Attendees discussed some key points that counsel might consider when drafting their agreements—particularly clauses related to the appointment of valuation experts. The role of the valuation expert and insights into the valuation process were also shared.   The SCC’s model clause for this process was a central point of discussion.
