Meet our colleague, legal counsel David Wigfeldt! 👨👦   What does your role at the SCC involve?  - Aside from great colleagues and a lot of fun, as legal counsel I spend most of my time working on arbitration cases alongside the case administrator. In a normal working day, I prepare and make decisions under the SCC Rules, draft decision proposal memoranda for our Board, review and negotiate internal and external agreements, and conduct lectures on arbitration and the work of the SCC. The role is very diverse, and no two days are the same!   Tell us one thing you are especially proud of at the SCC! - Although we are a small team, we handle a large number of cases and assignments (over 200 in 2024). We set ourselves high standards of efficiency, expediency, and independence, which is why we remain one of the world's leading arbitration institutions.   Do you have any hidden talents—or perhaps a favourite sport? - I love all kinds of sports. As soon as there is any kind of competition, you can count me in! I've been playing floorball (Sw. innebandy) for many years, so it's a favourite! At the moment, I'm watching a lot of biathlon and cross-country skiing. I'm hoping for Sweden to get many podium places in the upcoming World Championships!
