Transparency is key to trust in arbitration. Here’s how we’re ensuring impartiality aligns with evolving standards. To stay aligned with evolving market practices, we’ve updated our policy to enhance transparency in arbitration. The new approach ensures that third parties with significant interests in disputes are disclosed early in the process. What’s New? - Clearer Disclosure Requirements: Parties are now required to disclose third parties like funders, parent companies, or other key stakeholders in their initial submissions. - Dynamic Updates: Any new third-party interests during the arbitration must also be disclosed. - Support for Arbitrators: With this information, arbitrators can better assess their independence and impartiality, ensuring compliance with our rules. Why It Matters: This update reflects our commitment to transparency and impartiality in arbitration. By addressing potential conflicts of interest, we continue to foster trust and confidence in our arbitration processes, ensuring we meet the highest standards in international dispute resolution.
