🚀 Meet our co-worker, Case Administrator Andrea Norelid! What do you do for work? – As a student worker at the SCC, I combine my role with my law studies at Stockholm University. In my day-to-day work, I take on the role of case administrator. The tasks can vary a lot. For instance, I draft letters and decisions for legal counsel, register incoming cases, and handle administrative tasks such as invoicing and answering questions from external counsel, parties, or arbitrators. What's something you didn't know about the SCC before you started working with us? – When I joined the SCC, I must admit that I did not know what arbitration was (which I think, unfortunately, is quite common among law students in Sweden), and I certainly didn’t realise that the SCC is such an important global player. It still amazes me to this day that such a small team can handle so many large and complex disputes every year. Even more so, I am delighted that all my colleagues at the SCC have truly become my friends during the nearly two years I’ve worked here. Who knew lawyers could be so much fun? What is your favourite way to spend a weekend? – I really enjoy kicking off the weekend with after work drinks and perhaps dinner at a restaurant on Friday evening. Saturday is perfect for spending time with friends – either going out for brunch or doing a workout together. Sundays are all about unwinding, especially during Stockholm’s grey months. Basically, a little mix of everything.
