✨ Meet Diana Engholm, Case Administrator at the SCC. Diana shares her thoughts on her role, her experience, and the best advice she’s ever received.
What does a Case Administrator do?
- Every day is different! Administering arbitration proceedings involves a wide variety of tasks that can often be complex. No two arbitrations are exactly the same, and that’s what keeps it exciting. I’m grateful to have my paralegal studies and years of experience at Swedish courts to rely on.
What surprised you most about working at the SCC?
- Before I joined, I wasn’t fully aware of the number of cases we handle or how advanced and well-structured our processes are. I also didn’t realize how large and complex some of these cases can be. It’s impressive to witness the level of expertise and dedication that goes into each case, both here at the Secretariat and in every arbitral tribunal.
The best advice you’ve received?
- Don’t dwell on what you can’t change, but always take the time to learn from your mistakes.
