𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗖 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀   Last week, our Secretary General Caroline Falconer joined the General Counsel Forum Europe in Paris, the annual conference of the ECLA - European Company Lawyers Association.   Under the theme "𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿", the agenda addressed a number of issues of great importance for in-house teams.   Caroline led the session "𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻". Having a background as legal counsel on an inhouse team, she spoke practically about dispute resolution from the user's perspective. She stressed the importance of the parties' willingness to find a solution, and how the procedure can be improved with the fruitful cooperation between the parties (in those issues where cooperation is possible).     Thank you to ECLA and to everyone who joined the discussion in Paris.
