Last week, SCC Arbitration Institute joined CMS Wistrand and Legora at the Swedish Embassy in Berlin for a seminar on the future of the legal profession and international arbitration, held alongside Berlin Dispute Resolution Days 2026.
Our Secretary General, Caroline Falconer, spoke on Sweden's role as a hub for international arbitration and moderated a panel debate on AI in arbitration: opportunity, risk and the road ahead, together with Niclas Widjeskog and Tom Christopher Prรถstler of CMS, and Filip Nordlund of Legora.
Together, the panel explored how AI is reshaping the partnership between clients and external counsel, how the next generation of legal professionals will be trained, and what new pricing models mean for the economics of legal services.
