𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗖𝗖 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲, Leila Marie Arfelt📖   𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗖 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲? My role as Trainee involves contributing to the daily work of the Secretariat: conducting legal research related to SCC cases, drafting case summaries for SCC Board meetings, writing memos and articles on arbitration and the SCC's work, and assisting with events. 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗖! I am proud to be part of this intellectually challenging environment, working alongside such motivated and established colleagues. I am hoping to soak up all the knowledge I can from those around me during my time at the SCC. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?
