𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.💜   Last week, the SCC Board and Secretariat gathered in Stockholm for our annual on-site board meeting, the one time each year the whole group is together in the same room.   Since 1917, SCC has worked to facilitate trade and business by providing a neutral, independent and impartial forum for resolving commercial disputes. Today, around 200 disputes involving parties from more than 40 countries come to SCC each year.   The Board has an important role in that work. Its decisions not only ensure the effective administration of individual cases, but also help shape the development of arbitration practice more broadly. Bringing together experienced dispute resolution practitioners from different jurisdictions and legal traditions helps ensure that our decision-making reflects the needs of those who use arbitration, while taking into account important considerations such as diversity, efficiency and the continued development of international best practice.  …
