𝗦𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘂𝘀? Last Sunday, on the sidelines of ICCA 2026 Madrid in Madrid, that question shaped a rich exchange at “𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁: 𝗔𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀”, a joint dialogue organised by LEGAL 21, ABOGADOS SL and co-hosted by CIETAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center, bringing together sixteen institutions from all parts of the world. Nils Ivars of Vinge represented the SCC at the panel. In particular, Nils highlighted the SCC’s position as a trusted international institution, emphasising that SCC arbitration is used by parties regardless of connection to Sweden.
